I spoke with my contact at CIPA and the EVO Formance Ultrabrights LED Light Strip, # CM93281, has 12 LEDs on the 8" strip.
This light strip can wire into any 12-volt power source and can also wire into your brake light circuit so the strip will come on whenever you brake. Since this light was not designed to replace the turn, brake, or taillights on your vehicle, we do not have any wiring information nor can we recommend using the light strip in this way. view full answer...
The lights per meter (LPM) figure you are referencing is the actual number of diodes in one meter or three foot section of the light strip. The Optronics Flexible LED Light Strip part # UCL90CB has 300 diodes and is 17' long therefore has an LPM rating of around 58 which is likely rounded up to 60 LPM. view full answer...
The LED Strip Light # ILL70CB is intended to be an interior light, and while the light is technically weatherproof, it is not recommended to use in a location that is directly exposed to the elements. A very similar light is the Optronics Thinline LED # UCL59CB. This is designed as an exterior utility light, and would work great on the front cap of your 5th wheel. The light itself is 12-3/8" long, with mounting holes 11-3/4" apart. I am afraid we do not have any exterior light strips with... view full answer...
If the light you choose is a 2-wire design like the Thinline Opti-Brite LED Interior Strip Light, part # ILL71CB, you will have a White wire and a Black wire.
The Black wire would be attached to your 12-Volt power source, and the White wire needs to be grounded to a clean metal surface.
To be able to use this light and have it controlled by the dome light you will need to attach the Black wire to the wire between the dome light switch and the dome light. view full answer...

The 3M adhesive backing on the Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator Lights # C53201 is a very strong adhesive that will last for a long time. It is important to have a smooth clean surface to attach the lights, otherwise they may not stay attached. While you will not need Cable Ties # DW05727-25 to hold the lights themselves in place they should be used to secure the wiring and prevent it from getting caught on part of your bikes when loading and unloading, view full answer...

Ok, we can give you some guidance on this, and the best way to power up interior lights in your enclosed trailer is with an independent 12 volt battery mounted directly on the trailer.
To do this, mount the battery with Battery Box # TLA7708R and use a junction box like # 38656 to tap into your 7-way so the battery gets a maintenance charge when you are hooked up to the 7-way. If you need to hook up your junction box it will require ring terminals # 44-5310A, and 12 gauge wire # 12-1-1... view full answer...
The LED lights will be brighter than a comparable halogen bulb. LED lights are brighter in general and since the light is more focused it will have a higher Lumen output. The reason is that the same size halogen bulb puts out light in all directions and is then focused with a lens or reflector behind the bulb.
As far as lighting up a wide area which is what a flood light does, a halogen will work better than an LED because the light is not as focused as it is with an LED. view full answer...
