  • I don't see any reason why you can't connect an elbow to in the manner you are speaking of with a disc brake actuator like the Dexter DX7.5 Drop-N-Go Brake Actuator - Disc Brakes - 2" Ball - Zinc Plated - 7,500 lbs # 099-175-20. The shock in the actuator needs to be perfectly horizontal, of course, but there's no reason you can't attach a 90 degree elbow to ensure you can get the fit you need.

This forces air out of the hub area and will disburse the grease toward the outside of the hub on the grease fitting side.
