It sounds like your 2017 Airstream Interstate is on a Mercedes Sprinter chassis which has the front collision avoidance sensors. When carrying your motorcycle on the front of your Airstream you will want to deactivate the front collision prevention system. This is done by pressing the button on your dash. I contacted Tech support at TorkLift for your issue with the Fortress GasLock Kit, # TLA7770. They stated that while they have in the past had a few that fit tightly at first, they have not had any feedback of them not opening or the keys breaking off. You may just need to put a little more force to it. I asked about suggestions to loosen this up, lubricate the tumblers in the barrel. I just spoke with my rep at Tuson RV Brakes, the manufacterer of the Tuson DirecLink Base Model Trailer Brake Controller item # 335DL-100. He said that the older units had an LCD screen that wears out over time depending on the region you live in. He said humidity gets into the display and it slowly begins to fade until the entire screen goes dark. The valve in your regulator is likely going bad and allowing the gas leak so you would want to replace it. I recommend swapping it out with the JR Products Compact Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator # 37207-31525. This has 1/4" FIF inlets and a 3/8" FPT outlet. view full answer...
