While I do not know the wire colors/functions on your 2018 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack I can tell you how to figure it out. Use the included circuit tester that came with the ZCI harness # 119250KIT or if you need one you can get # PTW2992 to test the taillight wires while someone sits in the vehicle and goes through the various light functions.
If there is one wire that has brake lights, taillights, and turn signals on it then you only use one connector per side on the ZCI harness. You... view full answer...
We don't have any specific advice on an installer, but because the installation involves removing the bumper cover, I'd recommend having a body shop complete the installation for you. EcoHitch lists an estimated 2 hour installation. Any local body shop that has a good reputation among their customers should be able to easily handle the installation for you. view full answer...
I wish there was a way to install the hitch part # 24949 without trimming but you have to trim the section in figure 5 to allow the hitch to fit properly. I attached the figure you mentioned.
The fit info for this hitch does list fascia trimming as well. view full answer...
If the stop light circuit or CHMSL (center high mount stop lamp) circuit on the 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack are the only things that are on the associated fuse you could use a fuse tap in that location and wire the brake controller red wire to it. It has to be a dedicated brake light only circuit though.
Another option is to tap into the combined brake light and turn signal wires on the trailer connector, which I assume is a 7-Way since they want a brake controller, using converter #... view full answer...
The Westin Sportsman Grille Guard, # 40-93545, will interfere with the parking sensors on a 2018 Ram 1500, but Westin offers a work-around for this issue with the Parking Sensor Relocation Kit, # 40-0015S. You will need 2 kits for all of your parking sensors, but other than that this kit includes everything needed to move your parking sensors from your bumper to brackets on the grille guard.
I've attached a set of installation instructions for you to check out. view full answer...
A lot of people use trailer hitches to carry bike racks or cargo carriers which is why we offer trailer hitches for vehicles like your 2019 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack like the Draw Tite part # 24949.
When you install an aftermarket part on your vehicle like a trailer hitch in this case, you are protected by the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act. This act states, in part, that unless the installation and the part caused a problem then the warranty cannot be voided. I recommend looking it up online. view full answer...

The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7315 referenced in your question is confirmed to fit your 2017 VW Golf Alltrack. I was able to get ahold of the installation instructions for the hitch on your vehicle and found that you will need to trim a 3-7/8 inch section from the driver side factory cutout of the bumper. I have attached an image from the instructions to assist as well.
All the necessary hardware for this hitch is included. view full answer...
In regards to installing the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 119250KIT on your 2019 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack, you may need to attach the wire connector with the brown sticker to the rear license plate illumination circuit and the wire connector with the red sticker to the center high stop light if the stop position and tail lights pins inside the trailer connector on the above harness do not work after installing the wire connector with... view full answer...
