Which Instructions to Use with ZCI Trailer Wiring for 2019 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack

Question:

got the kit installed with the Brake/Tail lite on the same wire so with the red to the brake tail wire, brake lights work, but cant get the tail lights to work, . did not connect the brown tail wire as instructed, BT wiring used per the instructions.

For your 2019 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack with the # 119250KIT you actually should use the A wiring setup in the install instructions and not the BT since your vehicle does not have multiplexed wiring. This will require you to connect the running light wiring.
