In order to transport a girl's bike (or any bike with alternative style frames) to a hanging rack like the Malone Runway 4 Bike Rack # MAL72VR, you will just need a bike frame adapter bar. I recommend the Kuat # UB01 because of how easy it installs.
This will connect to your bike's seat post and handlebar stem post to provide a horizontal attachment point for the bike rack. This will ensure level transport and improved ground clearance. I have included an image that shows how this works... view full answer...
If your 2015 Chevy Traverse has a rear air conditioning unit then it blocks that access to the tail light wiring on the passenger side. So to use it you would have to modify the wiring harness # C56181 essentially making it into a hardwire application which will void the harness warranty. You would have to access the tail light wiring to the passenger's side elsewhere on the vehicle.
I checked the owners manual for the 2015 Traverse and the procedure for changing a tail light bulb shows... view full answer...
There is not a rated time for the installation of the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX1734 on your 2019 Chevy Traverse. We have found that the installation can take between 3 and 6 hours depending on the particular vehicle. This vehicle looks to be more in depth, so it is most likely closer to the higher number of hours. The lighting kit I recommend for your vehicle is the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 which is a universal fit kit that... view full answer...
Yes, the Jack-It 2 Bike Rack for A-Frame Trailers, # LC429756, does have an installation video, but not on a trailer with a powered jack. Please note the link to video below and jump and to about the 5:38 mark. You will need to disconnect the wires for your powered jack and feed them through as well. This is the only difference for installation between a powered jack and a manual crank type. view full answer...

Since your husband effectively installed Draw-Tite Hitch # 75528 on his 2010 Traverse using our videos, he should have no trouble removing it. We do not produce hitch removal videos (although with the proliferation of auto leases this need may be upon us!) since your husband did the install, which required "fighting gravity" to lift the hitch into place, the removal process will at least require a bit less elbow grease.
I suggest he liberally apply a spray-on penetrating lubricant a few... view full answer...
Thanks for asking, and I'd be happy to clear up any confusion!
Firstly, the Inno Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 57" Long # INXB145-2 with the Inno Through Feet for Aero Crossbars - Naked Roofs # INXS250 you mention is a great choice will work wonderfully with your Traverse!
However, in order to attach the feet # INXS250 to the naked roof of your 2019 Chevrolet Traverse, you are also going to need a fit kit.
For your vehicle with the Inno crossbars and Through feet, you'll need... view full answer...
I don't recommend leaving a bike rack installed onto your 2012 Buick Enclave's hatch while opening it. I would remove the rack. I can't guarantee the rack will stay secure and not fall on your or someone else plus the rear hatch isn't designed to support weight on it when it's opened.
The most popular rack we have for your Buick is the Thule Passage # TH910XT. It's a great rack that's priced well. It has the anti-sway cradles to keep bike from moving and making contact with the vehicle... view full answer...
The Dexter Single Axle Heavy Duty Suspension Kit # K71-403-00 technically will not have a torque specification. However, I have been asked this before and was informed by Dexter that what you need to do is tighten them down to the point of either pinching the leaf spring or all the way to the shoulder of the bolts. If you start pinching the head of the leaf spring before hitting the shoulder, you will need to back the nut off a little to let the spring move, but not so loose that it can... view full answer...
First, you do not necessarily have to remove the front clip on your 2012 Chevy Traverse to install a supplemental transmission cooler. It just makes installation a lot easier if there is nothing in the way. We have not yet installed a transmission cooler on a Traverse so I do not have a video or specific instructions on removing the front clip.
When our installers perform an installation they have to determine where the fasteners are that hold on the front clip (if it is a vehicle they... view full answer...
I have linked you to the full installation instructions for the AirLift # AL60816. The factory bump stops you referred to are cut off, to provide room for the air spring. The hole in the upper spring seat is enlarged in order to allow the hose to pass through. This is addressed on page 4 and 5 of the instructions.
When installing the air bags, it is absolutely crucial that the air lines are cut perfectly square otherwise they'll leak. We recommend using a tubing cutter like part # AL10530. view full answer...
The breakaway system of the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking # DM26VR does not draw power to operate so it would not be affected if the vehicle battery was disconnected. This actually has an air tank it uses in the event the pin gets pulled. view full answer...
Without a factory tow package, you will need to hardwire the Prodigy P2 brake controller, # 90885 (installation details linked below) for your 2010 Chevy Traverse.
First, you will need to install Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # 118450. I have included a video installation on a similar vehicle. Next you will need to install a 7- and 4-Way Installation Kit, # ETBC7.
Plug the 4-Way you previously installed into the back of the ETBC7. There will then be 4 wires left to connect: blue,... view full answer...
The only way to use the install hardware for the SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box # SR7018 is with the plate mounting on the inside of the box and the u-bolt going around the crossbar, coming up through the box, and then getting secured with the wing nuts.
Since there is a curve in the u-bolt it would put undue stress on the inside of the cargo box if it was mounted upside down and tightened.
I attached a review video for this cargo box for you to check out as well. view full answer...
Yep; if you check out page two of the linked installation instructions, you can see the explanation of inserting the rubber strip for the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack # MPG216.
It states: 1) With the cross bars installed, measure the distance of the exposed slot. With scissors, trim the rubber insert to measured length. 2) From the bottom of each cross bar, press the rubber insert into the exposed slot. view full answer...
There are no relays or fuses required to install the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118287 on your 2018 Chevy Traverse. It will simply plug into a harness under your vehicle and that's all there is to it.
I have added a link to the instructions as well as a video installation for you to check out of the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118287.

Yes, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # CU29FR which will allow the bumper cover to be installed over the cover to hide and protect it when not in use.
