The mounting holes in the bumper beam are located by installing the mounting hardware in the vehicle frame and then positioning the hitch and lightly tightening the frame hardware. You can then use the hitch as a template to drill the 17/32 inch holes in the bumper beam, see instructions link.
Before drilling the 17-32 inch holes it will help to have someone look at the back of the vehicle and help you center the hitch with the license plate on the vehicle.

The Curt Class I Hitch # C11705 that fits your 1991 Chevrolet Corvette will not require any grinding or cutting but you will need to use a drill to enlarge some of the holes in the Corvette's frame. There just isn't a specific distance I can offer for how far apart you should mount the etrailer Horizontal E-Track # e62VR for multiple vehicles. There are way too many variables to give any type of concrete answer for that so you'll have to know the width of the track on each vehicle and mount them a distance apart that will allow you to support each vehicle.
