If you were to use the manual override lever of the Hopkins and compress it all the way it would only put as much power on the brake circuits as you had set the controller to as the max. So if you had it set to 50 percent power it would only go to 6 volts when slid all the way.

I was not able to find any relays that are related to the function of trailer lights so I do not believe that is the issue here. I contacted Dometic (they own the Fan-Tastic Vent brand now) and they said you can use any 4 Amp fuse as long as it is the same diameter of the existing fuse. I went to the warehouse and verified that the T-Bolts that come with the SnowPack will indeed fit in the tracks that are used for the Elite Van XT.
