Does Manual Override of Hopkins Apply Preset Max Braking Level or Go Full 12 Volt

when using the manual control does it override the settings and allow full power to be applied?

If you were to use the manual override lever of the Hopkins and compress it all the way it would only put as much power on the brake circuits as you had set the controller to as the max. So if you had it set to 50 percent power it would only go to 6 volts when slid all the way.
This is so that you don't grab the override in an emergency situation and just lock the trailer brakes up and make things potentially worse. Also helps set overall braking strength.
