Grated Step Needed for 2016/2017 Ram ProMaster for Snow and Ice

Question:

I have a number of 16 and 17 promaster. We need to add some basic steps like this to them for the sliding side door. The driver and passenger doors have a great built in step but the side and rear doors and to tall for a safe entry and mostly exit. What would you recommend. These vans are in Minnesota. The nonstop is a sick joke. All of these type of steps are like greased ice when you have snow or ice on the bottom of your boot. A product no one sells is an open grid style step plate to add to these type of steps. Something that lets the snow push through the grid instead of slipping on the plastic or rubber.

We do have the Carr Step for Cargo Vans # CARR501090 which uses the same style of "grate" step that you mentioned. This is 24" long, mounts to your frame, and is easily stowed and released by pressing it in with your foot!

As you mentioned, there are no steps like the Pilot # BBS-1101S-2 with this grated design so this is what you are going to want to use.
