I spoke with my contact at Timbren and he said on the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System, part # A4RS440, that it has 1-inch of deflection or suspension travel. See attached photo.
He also said to remember that unlike leaf spring suspensions, the Axle-Less suspension units operate independently of one another, so each spring only activates when needed. view full answer...

Each of the two hub/suspension assemblies in the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System # A35RD545E is rated for 1750-lbs, so together they offer capacity equal to a standard 3500-lb axle. This system can be used to configure a tandem-type trailer if two sets are used. It is not recommended to use three sets to mimic a triple axle suspension.
Timbren also offers two higher-rated 5200-lb-capacity systems, part # ASR5200S01 and part # ASR5200S04 with 4-inch drop spindles and brake flanges,... view full answer...
The Timbren Silent Ride Suspension Kit # TSR2000S06 will not increase the weight capacity of your Aluma Utility Trailer. This kit will provide you with a smoother and quieter ride than the traditional leaf spring suspension you currently have. The progressive springs will get firmer as the load increases providing a more stable ride. The springs will better absorb road shock and vibration than a leaf spring which will give the trailer a much smoother ride.
There are far less moving parts... view full answer...

8,000 lbs is the correct rating for the Silent Ride Suspension:
- Timbren Silent Ride Suspension for Single Axle Trailers w/ 3-1/2" Round Axles # T54FR
This is unique in that it is for round, 3-1/2 inch diameter 8k axles, which are often Dexter axles; most heavier-duty axles are 3 inches in diameter, so you will just want to ensure you do have the axle which is 3-1/2 inches in diameter and rated for 8,000 lbs. view full answer...
I spoke with my contact at Timbren and the Rear Suspension System, part # THROD2, has a weight capacity of 2000 lbs and will work on your 2004 Acura MDX as long as the tongue weight does not exceed the tongue weight capacity of the vehicle or trailer hitch. I assume the 1999 Key West boat trailer you have creates sag on the rear of your vehicle. I would recommend a weight distribution system over a rear suspension enhancement system in this situation.
I would recommend the Reese Trunnion... view full answer...

It is important that the total load to be carried (the approximate combined weight of your snowmobile, your trailer and any other equipment that might be carried at the same time, such as filled gasoline containers and camping gear, for example) be within specified weight limits of not only your tires, but also your trailer wheels and the trailer axle. If any one of the trailer suspension components is below the total load requirement then you may need not only different tires, but potentially... view full answer...
