Hey Nancy, so there isn't a minimum ground clearance required for use with the Saris Freedom bike rack part # SA4412B-FB but this rack has a really large rise built into the shank of 8 inches so it would do a great job keeping your bikes high enough that they wouldn't drag.
The wheel cradles are made from plastic but they were reinforced in a way that they are very strong and wouldn't break. Plastic also helps keep the weight down. view full answer...
What you need is a fuse bypass. If your fuse is 20 amps or less you can use the Blue Ox Fuse ByPass Switch # BX88272. However, based on what other Honda Fit owners have reported it sounds like you have a 30 amp fuse. If that is the case, you will need the Blue Ox Fuse ByPass Switch - High-Amp Fuse # BX88274 which can handle up to 50 amps. view full answer...
All of the roof top tents we carry require aftermarket crossbars like the Yakima Roof Top Tent part # Y07436 so for your 2016 Honda Odyssey that has a factory roof rack you would need to install a set of crossbars like the Malone AirFlow2 part # MAL84AR which would attach to the raised rails on your roof. There isn't a way to safely attach a tent to your OEM crossbars. view full answer...
I would be happy to put together a list of parts to flat tow your vehicle. Roadmaster is a great brand and what I typically recommend so I would stick with it. A lot of knowledge and experience goes into their parts. They're also easy to use and incredibly reliable . For your 2012 Honda CR-V I recommend the following:
-Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521567-5
-Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar # RM-522
-RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables... view full answer...
Hello Dylon. Unfortunately, none of the hitches we carry for the 2017 Honda Civic will fit the center exhaust models. The exhaust sits literally right where the hitch would need to be located. Even if a hitch was designed to fit under the exhaust, this would be less than ideal because your bike rack and bikes would be directly behind the exhaust which for obvious reasons would not be good.
The best way to carry bikes on your civic is to add a roof rack with crossbars and use a roof-mounted... view full answer...
The 12 volt power wire that runs to the Curt Triflex part # C24VV is hot all the time but when the controller isn't in use it goes into a sleep mode that prevents the battery from draining when not used for a while. view full answer...
Hey Emanuel, so I have a video attached to this page that will show you the process but it's not of the exact kit part # AL98WQ that you asked about. The process is basically identical though as it's basically just about getting the air bag into the coils of the spring so it will be very helpful. view full answer...
I do not see any of our manufacturers make a baseplate for the 2024 Honda CR-V and it appears you are unable to flat tow the new CR-V as the owners manual I was able to find said it could not be flat towed or placed onto a dolly and would need to be towed on a flatbed hauler or trailer. view full answer...
Yes, Tekonsha makes a wiring harness that will plug into the same connection your # 118558 currently uses. What you need is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118265. view full answer...
Since you haven't bought the 2023 Kia Carnival yet and you are still in the shopping phase you should definitely go with one that has raised roof rails so you can install a roof rack like the Rhino Rack part numbers # RRVA137B-2 and # RRSX100 as there aren't any solutions for the naked roof configurations. view full answer...
The MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat item # MA00-06200K uses up to 5-Amps to operate when running and up to 9-Amps for startup. So probably between 90 - 100 hours if it was the only thing running and you left it on. view full answer...
Hey Matt,
If you're referring to the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package # 118558 then you shouldn't have any leftover fuses or relays. The relays need to be installed on the wire harness and the 30 amp FMX/JCASE fuse needs to be installed in the secondary engine compartment fuse box in fuse port 3 (trailer main). Without the fuses and relays installed the trailer connector will have no power.

The Replacement 2" Adapter for Swagman 1-1/4" to 2" Bike Racks # SP323 is actually not going to work with your Thule T2 Pro X Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # TH83GC, instead you'd need to use the Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver # HT02 which will work and has been approved by Thule. view full answer...

I am sorry to hear that, Aaron. It sounds like the weldnut inside the frame has broken loose which honestly really sucks. This does happen on rare occasions and unfortunately the hitch cannot be used in this state.
The bolt will need to be removed. This is best done with a grinder, or torch. Then the best thing to do is use the fish wire method to put a carriage bolt and spacer into the frame. a spacer like part # RP3022 should work well for this purpose, although I do not know the exact... view full answer...
Yes, they can! The Fit Kit for Thule Evo Flush Rail and Edge Flush Rail Roof Rack Feet item # TH52KE can be moved up and down your Honda CR-V's side rails. They do not screw into fixed positions so you're free to adjust them.

Hey Jeff, this is a great question and one that I hadn't thought of before but all you need to add a third crossbar to the Yakima EasyRider trailer # Y08129 would be a 78 inch crossbar part # Y45FR and two of the feet part # Y57EV according to Yakima. view full answer...
It looks like the OEM trailer wiring you have installed on your 2019 Honda Passport would be a standard 7-way which can secure to the Draw Tite hitch part # 76290 as it has a bracket for it. You'd just also need the part # A10-9394VP as well. view full answer...
Hello Robert. The Manual Lift Knob for the # FV807357 vent has a screw that goes down thru the top of the handle and attaches it to the motor assembly. If you were to remove the knob, there would be no part of the shaft that extends beyond the motor, so it sounds like this vent will work for you. view full answer...
