The Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR98SR is 12-5/8" tall x 12-5/8" wide so it should fit in the opening without an issue. You'll need to install some 2" x 2" boards on the sides to eat up the gap and have something for mounting flange sides to screw into. Hiya Marty. While I wish I could look up exactly what your 2001 Damon Intruder 375 came with I have no access to a parts lookup from the manufacturer. Based on images and videos I found it looks like the Global Link RV Baggage Door Slam Latch # 295-000015 is the closest we have. This latch is 5" wide by 4-1/2" tall and 1-1/2" thick. All newer water heater models are transitioning to smaller sizes as the technology gets better so you'll likely have a gap regardless of which unit you choose to go with. There's typically framing around the water heater so you'll just need to add in some 2" x 2" boards to fill in the gap and give the mounting flange of the new unit something to grab onto when mounting. I've attached a video below where Jake had to do this in order to install the # FR93FR.

Manufacturers have transitioned over to smaller tankless units for better performance and efficiency so replacing your old Atwood unit is going to be a bit more work than a typical swap out. The dimensions I'm seeing for the G6A-8E show it being 12-5/8" T x 16-1/4" W x 17-5/8"D so with all newer units being 12" x 12" you'll have to shim in the sides to fill the gap. Hey Bruce, I recommend going with the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR48SR to replace your Atwood G6A6 water heater. This water heater has a 60,000 btu rating which is quite the step up from what you have currently, is a tankless unit so it'll provide hot water on demand (whenever you need it), and will produce up to 144 gallons of hot water per hour.

There isn't a separate latch or lock for this particular fridge, so if ensuring the doors are always closed is paramount, I would suggest considering a different option, the Everchill RV Fridge # EV77FR.

If you would prefer to keep matching keys the only option is to replace both at the same time and select the keyed alike. That we do, Larry. You did not mention exactly what model of FIC lock you have, but a Potential solution for you is the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit # 295-000019. This is a replacement for a standard entry door lock from a number of manufacturers including Fastec (FIC). It is 3.47" wide x 4.28" tall, fits doors that are 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" thick and will install into latch cutouts that are 2-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" tall to 3" wide x 4" tall.
