We do not have a way to identify the axle on your 2019 Salem FSX 179DBK. What you will need to do is climb under the trailer and look for the axle tag. If the axle tag is too worn or missing there may be a serial number stamped into it which could identify the axle. The switch included with the Kwikee Electric RV Step Complete Assembly # LC3658373 when switched on should allow the steps to extend the first time the door is opened and keep them extended out until the switch is turned off and the door is closed.
