The two wiring harnesses you referenced are essentially the same harness made by different manufacturers. Both are confirmed to fit your 2008 Scion xB and both will install in the exact same way.

The 1-1/4 inch shank drawbar that we carry with the highest rise is the Brophy Class II Drawbar 5-1/2 inch Rise or 6 inch Drop, # BM96, which you reference. At this time we do not carry a 1-1/4 inch shank Drawbar with a 9 inch rise. Rhino Rack does not make a Pioneer Platform for the 2015 Scion xB. Yakima makes a similar 55" long x 49" wide platform, but the weight limit is 165 pounds, well under your needs. It also requires a fit kit that is not compatible with the Scion roof. Further, you will need to check your owners manual for your vehicles roof weight limit.
