You could install a dimmer switch provided that the switch is rated for use in a 12 volt system and that you can find the proper size dimmable bulbs. We do not carry any dimmable bulbs that would work. Technically any incandescent bulb could be dimmed but some are designed for it and would last longer.

Since I do not know what model year xA you have I checked online manuals for several model years (the Xa was produced in 2004, 2005 and 2006).
