On the trailer side of the wiring you will need to run the cut off wires up to the brake output circuit of the 7-way wiring on the trailer. This will be the pin in the 7:00 position. There should be then an additional wire from the assemblies that will get grounded to the trailer frame or back up to main ground wire of the wiring. There isn't a brake controller wiring harness for the 2005 Chevy Workhorse RV chassis. It is possible that the RV came with one. Sometimes they plug in under the driver's seat but would otherwise be located under the dash. It is also possible that it does not have a place to plug a brake controller into and could just have tow package wires under the dash. To check this look for a bundle of wires up under dash with a white tag on them.

The transfer switches that we currently offer are either rated for 30 amp or 50 amp service and can't function properly if wired to a different amperage rating. For example, if your motorhome had 50 amp service and you installed the Furrion Automatic Transfer Switch # F50ATS and then wired a 30 amp generator to it, it wouldn't sense the generator since it's not putting out 50 amps for it to kick the switch over. I was able to find the step originally on your 1989 Winnebago wnc23. It was the Kwikee 3218 which unfortunately no longer has any replacement parts available. You will need to replace the entire step assembly as replacement parts are only available for 1999 and newer steps at this time.

You do not want to disconnect any wiring from the brake switch on your 2005 Safari Trek Motorhome. I cannot find any information that shows that your blue wire from your 7-way is the same as what connects to your brake switch. Normally if you have wiring from the factory they will be bundled with a power wire, brake switch signal wire, ground wire and the wire that travels to the 7-way. According to Roadmaster, there actually isn't a steering stabilizer available for your 1998 Fleetwood Bounder. They do still make a front sway bar that you could use, however. If you're interested, you're going to want the Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar and Bushing Kit # RM-1109-116.

The issue you are having your Kwikee Electric Steps could be attributed to a few different issues. The first issue could be that the override switch is not wired properly. I have attached for you below a photo that shows how the steps/switch should be wired.
