In Cab Sound for AFE Air Intake on 2008 Toyota Tundra

Question:

I have a 2008 Trundra and have looked at a lot of intakes and this one seems to be the right one. My question is, when you are on the highway and running at a set speed is the sound in the cab loud? I dont mind hearing a roar when I hit the gas, thats what we want, but not as normal running.

Whether your 2008 Toyota Tundra has a 4.7L or 5.7L, you should hear a deep, throaty sound when accelerating, but it would not be obtrusive at speed. The sound will be more noticeable when accelerating or at high RPM, but it would not have a loud, drone-like sound similar to an exhaust system.
