I believe you will find that your trailer setup will be within the 220 lb tongue weight limit of your 2011 VW Tiguan. You should check the actual tongue weight to be sure, but I did some calculations and found that if your trailer is loaded properly the tongue weight should be somewhere around 190 pounds at most. You are limited to 2 bikes on a Class I trailer hitch receiver but not a Class II. If you have a Class II receiver on the Tiguan you can carry 3 bikes as long as you're still within the weight capacity of the hitch. The monitor itself, measures 3-1/2 inches long, 2-1/8 inches wide and about 1 inch thick. The mount is only about 1 inch from the back of the monitor to the base. I recommend installing the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7393 on your 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan to use with your Yakima Dr Tray bike carrier.
