I checked the vehicle owner's manual and all it says is that it is not recommended to tow a trailer with the 2014 Kia Soul (any model). But it also does not say you can't and there are numerous references to towing throughout the manual. So my interpretation is that you could tow a trailer but how heavy is unclear. I would say that at 1,200 pounds that is probably the max you would want to tow. Also, at 75 pounds that tongue weight is too light and that will make the trailer susceptible... view full answer...
Yes, we do. To add a 2" hitch to your 2015 Kia Soul you will want the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch item # 306-X7326. This custom fit hitch bolts to your Kia with included hardware.
I really like this hitch because the crosstube mounts behind your rear bumper cover leaving only the 2" receiver visible. This not only helps with ground clearance but also looks better.
I have linked an installation video below and also attached a couple of pictures so you can see what this hitch looks like... view full answer...

I can assure you that the 2021 Kia Soul does not have an 8,900 lb towing capacity. I pulled up the owners manual of your vehicle and Kia actually does not recommend towing trailers with it. The capacity the vehicle can carry on the interior is actually on 860 lbs. Not all internet sources are reliable unfortunately so I am not sure why that site and a few others are saying the vehicle can tow such a ridiculous amount. To put that in perspective newer 1/2 trucks like F-150's just recently... view full answer...
It really depends on how much of the bolt hole and bolt were stripped during the install of the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11419, but to be on the safe side, you will likely want to use another M10 x 1.25 bolt.
And if the weldnut was stripped at all, I highly recommend using a tap, the 10 mm x 1.5 Tap # PTW8619.
We just want to make sure you can safely install the hitch, and the bolts will catch, allowing you the proper torque. view full answer...

The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 306-X7326 is rated for 300 lbs tongue weight and 2,000 lbs towing weight like what our customer service rep would have told you. It looks like the online owner's manual for your 2018 Kia Soul say not to tow with this vehicle though so the tow weight reduction shouldn't be affecting how you use the trailer hitch.
If you're in the market for a bike rack then I recommend taking a look at the RockyMounts WestSlope item # RKY10222 because it... view full answer...

Since the Class I Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11419 for your 2017 Kia Soul can tow up to 2,000 lbs it will be able to handle the weight of either trailer, but the 1,650 lbs and 1,800 lbs weight ratings you're seeing is the max amount of cargo each trailer can hold. When you add the weight of the trailer into the mix you're then looking at 2,500 lbs for the 4x8 and 2,700 lbs for the 5x8.
As long as you stay under the 2,000 lb weight capacity of the Curt hitch you'll be fine. This means... view full answer...
I can't say for sure. It depends on the weight of the carrier and the wheelchair. All of the trailer hitch receivers we carry for your 2013 Kia Soul, like the Draw-Tite # 24839, have a 200 pound tongue weight capacity.
Which means the carrier and the wheelchair combined cannot be heavier than 200 pounds with this hitch. It's likely the wheelchair is quite heavy and will exceed that itself.
Additionally, the Soul may have a lower capacity than the hitch so you may be limited even more.... view full answer...
The manufacturer of the Bumper Mounted Tire Carrier, Item # TR-1, has not listed a particular weight limit. One of our experts contacted them for more details and the manufacturer stated that it was tested for 100,000 miles on 225/75R15 travel trailer tires that were 50 lbs. It is designed to work with 15 inch to 16 inch tires, fits most 5-, 6- and 8-lug wheels, and attaches to 4" square bumpers.
