When you install the Curt hitch part # C12287 on your 2007 Volvo S80 the heat shield actually gets bent back to allow the hitch to access the install hardware and then gets bent back into place once the hitch is installed.

It looks like the Volvo 780 stopped being produced in the early 1990s and was replaced by the C70. So it would appear that if you have a 2006 model year that is like the 780 it would be a C70.
At any rate, the vehicle should have separate brake lights from the turn signals so basically every function would be on a separate circuit. Don't worry, I can help. It looks like you purchased a bike rack from us but not the roof rack so, if your original Yakima roof rack has the Q-Towers like # Y00124, then the correct Q-clips for your 2010 Volvo S80 are the front clip Q127 and back clip Q128. I checked and it looks like the S40 QTower setup would come with the Q102 clips for front and rear. On the clip themselves you should see a number at the top right to confirm. Basically what you can do is get someone to help you hold the hitch up into the position it will be when installed. If the fascia interferes anywhere then that would be where you would need to trim the fascia on your 2005 Volvo S80. This is the old use-the-hitch-as-a-template method. It is also possible that you may not have to trim. In some cases the hitch will just push the fascia up a little.

I have a different option for you, but at this time there is not a trailer hitch receiver with a 2" receiver that fits your 2014 Volvo S80.

While we don't have any custom fit hitch plates that fit your 2016 International 4300 we do have some universal mounts that would potentially work. You'd need to have a qualified welder install the kit.

When installed on a 2008 Volvo S80, the cross tubing of Draw-Tite Trailer hitch # 36466, will be visible beneath the bottom most part of the rear fascia. I have included a link to the installation instructions that include a drawing that should give you a good idea of where the hitch will be position once installed.
The rear bumper or fascia does not have to be trimmed. There is a heat shield underneath that may have to be trimmed a little in order for the hitch to fit properly.

To install the Curt Trailer Hitch, # 12287, on your 2007 Volvo S-80, you will need to temporarily lower the exhaust in order to attach the hitch to the vehicle frame. The only trailer hitch receiver they offer for your 2005 Volvo S80 is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C12285 which has a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening. Therefore, no they do not offer a trailer hitch receiver with a 2" receiver tube opening on your 2005 Volvo S80. You can obtain a 2" receiver tube opening by using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter part # C45785 but please keep in mind that this will reduce the weight capacity of your trailer hitch by 50%.
