  • Trailer Hitch Receiver and Bike Rack for Carrying 4 Bikes With a 2013 Toyota Prius
  • I recommend the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7178 for your 2013 Toyota Prius. To install this on your Prius you'll need to drill into the heat shield, but otherwise it is a pretty straight forward installation. Then you'll have a 2" Receiver to utilize for your bike rack. While installing the hitch I recommend also installing a 4-Way Wiring Harness # 118505. This will allow you to add some accessory taillights when you are hauling your 4 bikes as they will obstruct your...

  • Roof Rack For 2017 Toyota Prius With Bare Roof For Rooftop Cargo Box
  • Hey there Lisa, and yes, you're on the right track for getting a cargo box atop the roof of your 2017 Toyota Prius. The Inno rack you mentioned does indeed fit your Prius: - Inno Square Crossbars # INB127 - Inno Feet for Square Crossbars # INSUT - Custom Fit Kit # INK486 Since this rack uses square crossbars, the only other thing I really recommend is a wind fairing to dampen the wind noise and give you a peaceful journey. For that use the Inno Fairing # INA262. With that, you're set...

  • How Difficult Is the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver To Install On a 2011 Toyota Prius
  • In regards to installing a trailer hitch like the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 306-X7178 on a 2011 Toyota Prius, the process is not hard at all. It installs into pre-drilled holes in the bottom of the frame, but you will have to drill into the exhaust heat shield. I don't have any videos specifically on the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver but you can use the one attached on a similar hitch for guidance as the process is similar.

  • 4-Way Wiring Harness for 2023 Toyota Prius AWD
  • The Curt Powered Tail Light Converter w/ 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector and Install Kit # C59496 is the only option for your Prius. Since nobody makes a plug and play you will have to splice using the included quick-splices. This is a universal wiring harness that works for incandescent and LED lights so there is no reason it will not work for the AWD model. Our FWD listing is only because we had a customer successfully install it on a FWD model and it was updated to reflect that.

  • Recommended Single Bike Rack for a Tern HSD P9 Bike With Fenders
  • Just looking at your Tern HSD bike with fenders, I'm going to say no the Saris MHS Bike Rack for 1 Bike # SAR23MR is not going to work. I did some research and it looks like a lot of Tern owner's went with the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # HLY84FR and had success, but seeing as though you only need to move one bike the RockyMounts HighNoon FC Solo Bike Rack for 1 Bike # RKY87RR is what I'd go for. This rack has a nice 60 lb capacity so it'd easily be...

  • What is New About Yakima OnRamp LX Bike Rack vs. Previous Version
  • Hi Paul, The original Yakima OnRamp has been discontinued, and there are a number of different upgrades that come with the Yakima OnRamp LX Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # Y88DJ. The most important for most people is probably the capacity; while the original OnRamp had a 66 lb per-bike capacity, the LX has an 80 lb per-bike capacity. The load rating doesn't get higher than that, so it can be used for even the heaviest of ebikes. It will also work with wheelbases up to 54", which is 4"...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack to Carry eBike with a 2016 Toyota Prius
  • While it is true that there are no 2" trailer hitch receivers available for your 2016 Toyota Prius, I still have a solution for you to transport your 60 lb eBike. I recommend using the Class I Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11473 because it has the reinforced collar on it. You do have to use a support strap like part # 18050 for a bike rack. Since you are wanting to carry a 60 lb bike with a Class I trailer hitch though I think this is a good idea whether the Curt warranty required it...

  • Why Can't The Factory Tie-Down Bracket Be Kept On A 2012 Prius When Installing A Hitch
  • Hey Ken, The tie-down bracket sits right where the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24967 needs to sit to mount. The manufacturer most likely could've just built the hitch to accommodate this but chose not to. If you need a tie-down point then I recommend using the safety chain loops on either side of the trailer hitch receiver tube.

  • Recommended Kayak Carrier for a 2014 Toyota Prius
  • This is a fun riddle to start the morning off with! I would be more then happy to help you Dana but I have no idea what Thule roof rack system you bought from LL Bean or have any way of looking that up. However, I do have 10 different Thule Kayak carriers like the Hull-A-Port item # TH849000-97. All of our Thule Kayak systems like this attach to roof racks which we have quite a few that will fit your 2014 Toyota Prius. If you could find a part number on your Thule system I may be able...

  • Availability of 2 Inch Trailer Hitch for 2014 Toyota Prius
  • The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 2-Electric Bike Platform Rack # HLY84FR referenced in your question is compatible with 2 inch trailer hitch receivers, which is what you would need to add to your Prius in order to use the rack. The only 2 inch hitch available for your 2014 Toyota Prius is the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch # 306-X7178. This particular hitch has a really nice hidden design and a 300 pound tongue weight capacity. It will use existing holes in the vehicle's frame but does...

  • 2 Inch Trailer Hitch that Fits 2009 Toyota Prius
  • Hey Mike, so we have a 2 inch hitch that does fit your 2009 Toyota Prius with the EcoHitch part # 306-X7196 but the Curt you mentioned for sure does not fit. Hitch fits are very specific and if there was any possible carryover between two models the manufacturers would have it listed for all of them.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch For A 2024 Prius Prime
  • Hey Tom, There is one trailer hitch option currently available for your 2024 Prius Prime with the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH76QR. This hitch has a 2,000lb towing capacity and 200lb tongue weight capacity. You'll still want to refer to your owner's manual to see the towing capacity of your Prius and then go with whichever is lower so that neither get overloaded.
