There are two connectors on the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package part # 118760 that you will need to plug into your 2018 Honda Pilot in order to activate the wiring harness. Installation of the etrailer # e27KR does not require any cutting of the bumper or purchasing a special panel. The receiver hangs down below the bottom of the bumper. The same is true for the Curt # C22HR you looked at. The two are identical, but I would choose the etrailer hitch for the matte black finish over the glossy finish on the Curt.

The easiest way to add a 7-Way to your 2011 Honda Pilot would be to use Tow Ready Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring, # 118253. Out of this kit, you would need to use just one of the large black relays and then replace the 4-Way you have with the 7-Way components in the kit. On the battery isolator, # PK5231201, the input should be coming from the battery, into the isolator, then out the other side to the 7-Way. The unit grounds through the mounting hardware. It will need to be attached to the metal of the engine compartment.

I can see why the instructions might be confusing and unfortunately we don't currently have an installation video of the # 118286 on a Honda Pilot with the backup sensor available, but I can help you. If you check out image D on the instructions page it shows where you should look to plug into the backup sensor. This plug is located behind the passenger side access panel.

The best way to make the connection from the red wire on a brake controller to the stop light circuit on the brake switch is to solder in the red wire to the stop light wire. You will need to be careful not to overheat and damage the vehicle wire or surrounding wires when soldering. If you need solder you can # FL0803490. It would then be a good idea to wrap the connection in electrical tape.

When installing the Curt T-Connector # C56291 on your 2018 Honda Pilot, it looks like the location for the included fuse is the number 2 location in the fuse box that is located near the brake fluid reservoir (near the driver's side under your hood).
