The installation of a transmission cooler is not difficult per se but it will take some time. The first part of the process is removing various panels and trim pieces until you have access to the space in front of the radiator. Then, once this is done you will need to find out which line is for the return side but this is pretty easy as all you will need to do is cycle through the gears a few times and then feel each line to see which is hot and which is cool. The cool line will be for the return and the one you splice into. The rest of the process is just splicing into the hoses and then securing the cooler/lines. I have a great install video on a Pilot I have attached for you.

In regards to fit, the Derale Series 7000 Tube-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit part # D13101 will fit but I would upgrade to the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit part # D13502 instead as it has more cooling capacity. The one time install will be well worth the increased longevity of your vehicle's transmission but if you are not comfortable doing this yourself you can just take it into any local mechanic for installation.
