I spoke with my contact at Thule. She went and measured a Hitching Post Pro 4 Bike Rack, # TH934XTR from the hitch pin hole to the end of the arms. She came up with approximately 38-1/2 inches. The cradles can be slid a little back and forth on the arms.

The 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring # SP-210275 you're looking at is rated for 3,500 lb axle applications so I actually recommend using the the 3-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 2,000-lb Trailer Axles # e84SR instead. This will give you just the right amount tension needed for your trailer - the 3,500 lb leaf spring will be too rigid and cause the trailer to ride more stiff.

Welcome back! To add a wiring harness to your 2017 Pilot that will control your trailer's lights, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness item # C56291. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your Pilot's factory tow package, which is located in your cargo area, on the driver's side. No, we do not because the 2020 Honda Pilot's flush roof rails have holes predrilled into them to attach the crossbars. All of the available roof racks mount to the flush rails this way and can not be adjusted. There are no clamping roof racks that will secure to the rails without being screwed into these holes.

Between the hitches for the 2016 Honda Pilot Curt hitch # C13146 is going to offer 1/2 ich more ground clearance compared to etrailer hitch # e98840. The Curt hitch measures approximately 14-1/2 inches from the ground to the top of the receiver opening and the etrailer hitch measures 14 inches.

I took a look at each of the 2,000 lb trailer couplers that fit a 2" channel and connect to a 1-7/8" hitch ball, and none of them have bolt hole to bolt hole measurements of 1-1/4". The Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler # CT-2001-Z has a 2-1/4" on center measurements.
