Thule Locking Question

Question:

I have a Thule Easy Fold bike rack. It comes equipped with its own hitch receiver “pin” but I’d like something more secure than the small diameter receiver pin. Is there an etrailer solution to lock the rack onto the receiver?

The Thule EasyFold XT 2 E-Bike Platform Rack part # TH903202 uses the Thule stinger system that does have the thinner pin. The design of the thin pin is simply to align the pin holes and index them. The knob on the back is what is actually holding the rack solid and in place. The pin of course helps but the main 'hold" is in the anti-rattle system.

There are no options for a different type of pin that will allow you to se it in a different configuration. The Thule system is very secure and I personally would not hesitate to use it.
