Does the Exhaust of a 2011 Nissan Juke Need to be Modified to Install a Drawtite Hitch # 24892
Question:
Hi, I have read that people have had to go to a muffler shop to have their exhaust changed to fit once this trailer hitch is installed. I see on the product description that the exhaust must be temporarily lowered. Can you tell me more about what is required for the exhaust with the trailer hitch installation? Thanks!

We have heard some people had issues with hitch installs on their Jukes if they had aftermarket exhaust and were using a different hitch than the Draw-Tite Hitch # 24892 that you referenced, but if you have the stock exhaust system and get the # 24892 you should be perfectly fine.
I attached installation instructions for this hitch for you to check out also, the exhaust will need to be lowered like on most hitch installs, but no modifications will need to made to it.
