Since the Konig Self-Tensioning, Low-Pro Snow Tire Chains # TH04115097 are a higher quality brand they will be much better for traction when installed on the 225/40/18 tires you have on your 2012 Volkswagen GTI than cheaper links will. They have D Links in a diamond pattern which is one of the best combinations out there.

The Edge Insight CS2, part # EP84030, is not a tuner type of programmer. It can display several parameters and allows you to monitor them but you cannot tune the engine with it. It will not add horsepower, torque, or change any of the factory settings on your 2001 Volkswagen GTI. It can be used with other performance chips to track and monitor your newly tuned engine.

I checked the owner's manual for your 2007 Volkswagen GTI and it actually states that this vehicle can not be flat towed. The only way this vehicle can be towed is via a car dolly like the Demco Kar Kaddy X Tow Dolly w/ Disc Brakes - Tilt Bed Frame # DM9713093.

Here is a breakdown of how the wires will install on your 2010 Volkswagen GTI:

There are no trunk mounted bike racks that would allow you to open the hatch with the rack in place. Having the rack in place would add additional weight that the gas struts that hold the hatch open might not be rated for. There are two ways you can lubricate the Bulldog Round Topwind Trailer Jack, # BD1701480317. If the jack can be removed from the trailer, you can hold the jack upside down and apply a spray lubricant inside the inner jack tube. You have what is called multiplexed wiring for the wiring of the taillights of your 2012 Volkwagen GTI. The trailer wiring kit part # 119250KIT is designed to work with this setup so what you will need to do is run the yellow wire of the harness to the left turn wire, the green wire to the right turn wire and then run the red wire to the brake/taillight circuit of the vehicle. I am sorry you are having trouble wiring your trailer wiring harness on your 2009 Volkswagen Gti. The hardware that has to be fish wired inside of the vehicle frame is pretty much going to have to stay there unless you have a flexible magnet and can pull it out the same way it has gone in. But not to worry if you decided to keep the hardware inside the frame. You can get a new hardware kit, which you would want to do any way because the hardware should not be reused.
