• Hello Jason. I double checked with Curt and they do specifically state that the # C11058 hitch will only fit the sport model of the 2008 Honda Fit. So it will not work with your base model. Instead I recommend the Draw-Tite Class 1 Hitch # 24776. This model has some slight design differences which allow it to fit the base model and Draw-Tite does confirm this. This hitch is rated for 200 lbs of tongue weight instead of only 150 with the Curt so it is the better option anyways.
