Recommendation For Carrying 3 Bikes Behind a 2009 Honda Fit Sport Hatchback
Question:
We have a 2009 Honda Fit Sport hatchback. Id like to be able to carry three bikes with our vehicle: a mans road bike, a womans e-bike or if thats too heavy for the rack, a womans hybrid regular bike, and a growing childs growing sizes of bike. I dont really know what Im doing and am not very handy. What would you recommend? Im getting a bit lost in the options. Thank you!

First you are going to want to have a EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7286 installed on your 2009 Honda Fit Sport. As you mentioned you are not very handy you can use the link I put near the bottom of the page to search for installers near you. You will need to put in your zip code to search your area once you go to the page. You should also have them install a 4-Way # C56011 as you will most likely need to run Auxiliary Lights # C53201 behind the bike rack.
I recommend the Saris MHS DUO Bike Rack # SAR35MR for carrying your bikes. This rack can carry 2 bikes up to 80lbs each on the inner trays and up to 35lbs on the outer tray.

Thank you. One follow up question: I notice the 3 bike rack is very expensive (over $1000) and there are 4 bike racks that are much cheaper. Is there a 4 bike rack that you would recommend with the trailer hitch receiver that you recommended, that could bring the overall cost down a bit?
