There are no replacement keys available for the Gorilla Guard coupler locks; the best we can offer is to remove it and replace the lock itself with one that has replacement keys available, the Fastway Universal Trailer Coupler Lock for 1-7/8", 2" and 2-5/16" Couplers # FA86-0015-316. view full answer...
I've seen quite a few baseplate installs and can confirm that no matter the brand there are some that sit a bit more crooked than you'd think. In the attached stock photo of part # RM-523193-5 below, where you can see that the arms are angled a bit outwards. Motorhome mounted tow bars have enough maneuverability in them that it shouldn't matter if it's bent a little but your description sounds like it might be a bit more than the norm.
Could you send in a few pictures from different angles... view full answer...
LED lights draw considerably less amperage than incandescent lights. They also run much cooler. These 2 features are why LED lights last so long. The incandescent version of # STL8RB is # ST8RB and it draws 2.5 amps for the stop/turn signal functions and 1 amp for the running light functions.
And the LED version draws 0.259 amps for stop/turn functions and 0.062 amps for running light functions. view full answer...
All the hitches we offer for your 2011 Chevrolet Equinox have similar designs, and they are actually going to fit in nearly the same location. There is a center panel in the center of your vehicle bumper that will be removed for the hitch installation, and the hitch receiver opening will fit up into the space that is left when the panel is removed. Because of this, the hitches for your vehicle are all going to be mostly hidden. The same hitches that fit your vehicle also fit some similar... view full answer...
The Camco Automatic Changeover 2-Stage Propane Regulator for Dual Propane Tanks # CAM59005 can be used with both a 30 lb and 20 lb propane tank without issue because it only draws from one tank at a time so there are no issues there. In regards to using this regulator on a line that already has a regulator, that is not recommended. The reason being that the use of two regulators will result in the pressure being too low so you will only want to use one regulator.

Laws regarding the use of tire chains vary greatly from state to state, and even from area to area within a particular state. If road conditions warrant it, many states will use highway signage stating that any vehicle that passes that particular point must be equipped with tire chains. I would recommend contacting the state DOT or State Police in the area in question for more specific information.
The Thule XB16 Snow Chains you were looking at, part # TH01571245, would be a great choice... view full answer...
Yes. I confirmed with your Chevy owner's manual that the 2016 Chevy Equinox auto AWD model can be flat-towed with all 4 wheels on the ground. As with all flat-towing applications, I strongly recommend consulting with your manual to make sure you are abiding by all other towing guidelines. view full answer...

Dexstar tells me that the max pressure is contingent on which tire and valve stem is used, not the wheel itself. Americana Wheel and Tire, our distributor mounts tires rated at 110psi on this wheel without issue. You'll want to make sure that the valve stem you use has a higher air pressure capacity than the tire used. view full answer...
The frost heaves you are referring to can get pretty nasty on the Alcan so the fact that your Yakima FullTilt 5-Bike Rack has taken a beating is unfortunate but not surprising, just because of the extreme rough patches you will inevitably encounter. What I highly recommend you add for extra stabilization is the Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap for Hitch-Mounted Accessories # 18050 which will help limit the overall movement and play in your bike rack.
These straps come in a quantity of... view full answer...
Base plates are designed for the GVWR of the vehicle so there isn't a known maximum for the etrailer Invisible Base Plate Kit # e98965 because it's only tested to the maximum GVWR.
The base plate is more of an anchor and the tow bar does the actual pulling, so you'll want to insure that you choose the correctly rated tow bar for the curb weight of your Equinox as well as any items you load into it.
Since the GVWR of your Equinox is 4,400lbs to 4,900lbs my recommendation is the etrailer... view full answer...
You do not need to pull fuse 32 if you have a 4-cylinder 2016 Chevy Equinox; if so, leave fuse #32 intact and pull the ABS fuse instead (some models may label ABS fuse as #15 or #16). However, you will still lose power so you are going to need to install Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25 and 12 Volt Outlet Kit # RM-9332. I have added a link to a video install of these kits on a '16 Equinox for you to take a look at.
