I have a solution for you, but vehicle side wiring is always either 4 pin or 7 pin/blade; there is not a 5 way plug that you'll be able to install on your 1999 Mercedes E-Class. You will need to add the Curt Trailer Connector Adapter - 4-Way Flat to 5-Way Flat - Vehicle End # C57187 to the Tekonsha # 119177KIT to give yourself the 5 way plug you'll need to tow a boat trailer with a 5 way plug.

At this current time we do not have a trailer hitch yet confirmed to fit your 2023 Mercedes-Benz E-Class. For the time being if you're trying to haul bikes I recommend The Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack # Y02634.This rack can hold up to two bikes weighing 35 pounds apiece.
