I have the perfect wiring kit for you to activate your brake controller on your 2019 Mercedes-Benz E-Class!
The Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 includes everything needed to install an electric trailer brake controller and 7-way connector. This harness will plug directly into your existing 4-flat connector on the back of your vehicle. There are four extra wires that are needed to be spliced in to activate the brake controller and to give the # ETBC7 power the functions are below:
Black Wire - Connects to battery with fuse or breaker for 12V power source
Blue Wire - Connect to output wire on brake controller
White Wire- Connect to vehicle frame for ground
Yellow Wire- Auxiliary wire for 12V power, reverse lights, or reverse lockout for trailer brakes
I attached an installation video link below on a different vehicle but the installation is the same process.
