The Curt Class I hitch you referenced, their part # C11130, is a fit for the Mini Cooper S (the non-convertible version) but not for the 2011 Mini Clubman. The correct hitch for the 2011 Clubman is their hitch # C11387, which is also a Class I type. Curt designed two different hitches because the attachment points and clearances under the two vehicles are different. No one hitch will fit both the 2010 Mini Cooper S and the 2011 Clubman. Hitch # C11130 will fit both the 2007 S Series non-convertible... view full answer...
On your 2017 Mini Coooper Clubman, the # 119250KIT gives you a 4-way, but you'll still need to install Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7L for the correct wiring to use the Curt Echo # C51180.
You are right about the blue brake wire not being needed for the Echo. view full answer...
The WeatherTech Cargo Liner # WT40379 fits the rear area of your 2012 Mini Clubman with the rear seats in the upright position. Unfortunately we don't have any options for a heavy duty liner like this which fits the entire rear area of your Clubman with the rear seats folded down so this is your best option.
If you do end up going with this WeatherTech liner then I also recommend getting the Cleaner and Protector Kit # WT8LTC36K to keep it in good condition if you ever have to thrown something... view full answer...
According to Curt, the receiver hitch you referenced, part # C11387 will fit the 2009 Mini Clubman S.

For your application I recommend checking out the Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Black Glossy # TH629706. This has 69" long x 31-1/2" wide x 15" tall interior dimensions and according to my research the standard golf bag is 50" tall (including the clubs) and has a 10" - 13" diameter depending on the design. The 16 cu ft Motion XT gives you a box that can accommodate that size golf bag but isn't overly large either.
I recommend checking the height and diameter of your golf... view full answer...
As long as your 2010 Mini Clubman has crossbars that run side to side that are 4 inches or less wide and have a spacing between them of at least 23-5/8 inches, the Thule Force XT Sport Cargo Box, # TH6356B, will fit. I have incldued a link to the installation details for you to view. Another box listed as a fit is the Yakima RocketBox, # Y07192. I have included links to the installation details for you.
If the Clubman just has side rails that run front to back, you will need to add crossbars... view full answer...
The correct Roadmaster EZ2 Base Plate Kit for your 2012 Mini Clubman S with a manufacturer date of 05/12 is part # 521879-1A, not part # 521880-1. You can use most Blue OX Tow Bars which are listed for you below with this base plate kit so long as you also purchase the RoadMaster Base Plate to Blue Ox and Demco Tow Bars Adapter part # RM-033 and the Roadmaster Tow Bar Quick Disconnect Kit part # RM-201.

There won't be any problems towing your 2016 Mini Clubman S on a tow dolly, even with its low ground clearance at the rear. The vehicle's rear axle and wheels are very far back, so it isn't going to tilt downwards enough to cause issues over flat pavement, though over speed bumps, if it is raised up enough, it could of course hit the ground, and unfortunately there really isn't any way to overcome that type of obstacle.
If you do choose to dolly tow, the best options by far are the Demco... view full answer...
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11272 is a fit for a 2012 Mini Clubman John Cooper Works S Edition. It fits other models as well which is why some of the photos will look slightly different than what you may have. The license plate will have to be relocated while the hitch is being used. I suggest moving it down slightly and attaching the top hole on the plate to the bottom hole on the vehicle. It shouldn't matter if it covers the screen in the fascia a bit. view full answer...
The John Cooper Works (JCW) edition of the 2009 Mini Clubman came with a turbocharged I4 engine. The turbocharged engine also utilizes an intercooler which brings down air intake temperatures. The placement of the intercooler is the reason the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit part # BX1307 will not work for you as they both occupy the same space. Unfortunately, none of our base plate manufacturers (Roadmaster/Blue-Ox) make a base plate kit that is compatible with the JCW edition therefore your only... view full answer...
We do not recommend using the GearDeck Enclosed Carrier part # H00604 with a hitch adapter like a riser as it will cut the capacity by 50 percent for most applications. Now for what you described of using two hitch adapters we would definitely not recommend that as that would be just a bad idea all around. Especially in a lower capacity hitch like what you have installed on your 2009 Mini Clubman. You should note that this only fits 2 inch hitches and your Mini Clubman would have a 1-1/4... view full answer...
The Curt trailer hitch receiver, part # C11387, fits all models of the 2010 Mini Cooper Clubman including your John Cooper Works Clubman R55. The hitch installs behind the bumper fascia and the exhaust isn't in the way at all. I've linked a video of the install process on a 2013 Clubman as well as the install details.
Also, Curt requires that you use a support strap, part # 18050, if you're using it to carry a bike rack or cargo carrier.

Trailer lights, like the Bargman Triple Tail Light # 47-84-005 that you referenced, are universal fits so it is just a matter of making sure that you have enough room on your 2016 Mini Winnie RV for them to install.
The Triple Tail Light measures 14-1/16" long x 6-15/16" wide x 1-1/4" thick. For the wiring you just need to ground the White wire to a clean, bare-metal surface, and then connect the wires for each of the lights to the appropriate circuits.

If you are asking if you will be able to open the rear doors on your 2011 Mini Clubman with the bike rack installed it is possible they will be able to open all the way with the Thule Helium Aero, # TH9042PRO, tilted down. Since the doors on the back of the vehicle are half doors, when the rack is tilted down you should be able to open them without hitting the rack. I have included a link to a video review of the rack for you. view full answer...
Mini Coopers are a bit of a challenge when it comes to flat towing. Per Roadmaster's fitment guide the Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit # 521877-1 is a fit for S and Clubman models and will work with the Aerodynamic Package, but not with the Sport suspension. With this being such a specific fit I would reach out to Roadmaster with your VIN and any package info on your vehicle to verify with their techs. view full answer...
The ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT will allow you to wire in the 4-way flat connector on your 2016 Mini Cooper Clubman. With having the tail lights in the door you will need to remove the panels on the interior where the wiring from the doors enters the vehicle. You can then use the included tester to identify the correct wiring for the tail light, brake light and turn signal for the driver's side and the turn... view full answer...
