Will the Curt Hitch Fit a 2012 Mini Clubman John Cooper Works S Edition

Hi, I have a 2012 Mini John Cooper Works S. Your QandA section says that Curt C11387 will fit but the car in the photo of the installed hitch look different my car. I have a rear grill looks like air intake? which sits under the license plate and spans most of the distance from one exhaust to the other on either side of the vehicle. Can the C11387 be used in that situation? Also, if it can be installed as shown in the picture, where does the license plate go? Thanks!

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11272 is a fit for a 2012 Mini Clubman John Cooper Works S Edition. It fits other models as well which is why some of the photos will look slightly different than what you may have. The license plate will have to be relocated while the hitch is being used. I suggest moving it down slightly and attaching the top hole on the plate to the bottom hole on the vehicle. It shouldn't matter if it covers the screen in the fascia a bit.
