  • Correct Upgrade Kit for a Kwikee Series 32 Step
  • I do have an option for you but I called Lippert and they did not have any reference to a Coach Model 32 Step. It sounds like you may have the Kwikee Series 32 Step and if that is the case then the correct Lippert Components Kwikee Step Motor Conversion/Upgrade Kit for you is indeed part # LC379145. This upgrade kit will be a direct bolt on fit so long as you have the Kwikee Series 32 Step. If you can send me a few photos of your steps or can find any part numbers I would be happy to try...

  • Hitch Possibilities for a 2004 Chevy Aveo 5 Door Hatchback
  • I have two options for a trailer hitch for your 2004 Chevy Aveo 5 door hatchback. Unfortunately, both of the options require two holes to be drilled in the bumper beam. I have attached a short installation video for an Aveo 5. It is a different year, but the installation is the same so you can see if this is something you would be able to accomplish. If you are wanting the hitch for a hitch mounted accessory such as a bike rack, then I recommend the Draw-Tite # 24741. If you are going...

  • Grounding Dexter Self-Adjusting Brakes To Trailer Frame
  • You want to ground whichever wire you use from the magnet as a ground now to a clean bare metal surface of the frame on all of the assemblies. Trailer brake magnets are not polarity sensitive so it doesn't matter which wire but since you already have your trailer brakes wired, just make sure you don't cut the power wire instead. You also want to make sure the main trailer ground is properly grounded to a clean bare metal surface.

  • Best Way to Flat-Tow a 2009 Chevrolet Aveo
  • According to the owners manual for your 2009 Chevrolet Aveo, the vehicle cannot be flat-towed with four wheels down as this could cause damage to the drivetrain components. The recommended way to flat-tow this vehicle in on a dolly from the front with only the rear two wheels down. A tow dolly will create far less stress and wear on the toad vehicle than flat-towing with four wheels down will. For a tow dolly that will work well for you, I recommend using the Roadmaster Tow Dolly with...

  • Parts Needed to Flat Tow 2005 Chevy Aveo Manual Transmission
  • For your 2005 Chevy Aveo manual transmission you'd need the Roadmaster base plate kit part # 3129-1 that you referenced to start. In addition to the base plates, you will also need a compatible tow bar, safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking to flat tow your vehicle. The most popular compatible tow bar is the Falcon All Terain, # RM-522. This has non-binding arms which makes the setup very easy to connect/disconnect. For lighting/safety cables, locks, and covers for the tow...

  • Correct Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 2006 Chevrolet Aveo
  • The correct Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver for a 2006 Chevrolet Aveo is part # 24741, not the discontinued part # 24810 which was a fit for a sedan model only that is much different. The Draw-Tite trailer hitch is an excellent option that will provide you with a 1-1/4" receiver tube opening to be used with a bike rack, cargo carrier, or for towing. If you will be using the trailer hitch for a bike rack, take a look at one of our most popular options, the Thule Camber 2 Bike...

  • Will the Thule Passage Trunk Mount Bike Rack Fit on a 2011 Chevy Aveo5 Hatch Back
  • Yes, the Thule Passage, # TH910XT, is recommended for use on your 2011 Chevrolet Aveo 5 Hatchback. This is a good quality rack that will work well for you. I added a link to all of the bike racks that will fit on the Aveo. Another rack you might want to consider for ease of installation and removal is the Thule OutWay 2 Bike Carrier, # TH45JV, which also fits your vehicle. You may also need the Thule Bike Adapter, # TH982XT, which adapts women, alternative, oversize and some children's...

  • How To Break In Self Adjusting Dexter Brakes On Horse Trailer
  • Since the Dexter 12” self-adjusting brakes part # 23-459 and part # 23-458 are brand new and the braking is weak there is a chance the brakes are not fully adjusted yet. The brake assemblies haven't been activated enough times for them to find the right setting. I would not manually adjust the brakes anymore instead keep testing the brakes by driving around 15-20 MPH on a flat surface (like a parking lot) and hitting the brakes or use the manual override on your brake controller. After...

  • Recommended Braking System For Flat Towing A 2008 Chevy Aveo
  • The Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154 you were recommended is only for transferring your motorhome's turning and brake signals to the rear of your 2008 Chevy Aveo. Flat towing a vehicle isn't the same as towing a trailer so you can't just use a normal brake controller to activate the brakes in your Aveo, a supplemental braking system is required instead. You'll have two choices when it comes to the systems; either a permanently installed system or a portable system...

  • Recommendation For Snow Chains On A 2010 Chevy Aveo With 185/60R14 Tire Size
  • The Thule CS10 Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains # TH00204050 will fit on your 2010 Chevy Aveo with the P185/60R14 tire size. Also the Thule CG9 Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains # TH00023050 will fit. I would recommend the Thule CS10 chains because they give you an extra feature (external quick-release system) over the other snow chains and a better price. I am including a video link to a review on the Thule CS10 snow chains. Both of these snow tire chains are Class S tire chains. A...
