Correct Upgrade Kit for a Kwikee Series 32 Step
Question:
I have a 2011 Hurricane with a Kwikee 32 that has failed. The unit is the old style with the exposed gear and the straight arm that operates the step. Will the Lippert upgrade kit work in my step unit? Rather than just replace a motor or gear, I would prefer to upgrade the unit to the more modern curved arm, etc. Will the upgrade kit simply bolt into all the existing holes, etc?

I do have an option for you but I called Lippert and they did not have any reference to a Coach Model 32 Step. It sounds like you may have the Kwikee Series 32 Step and if that is the case then the correct Lippert Components Kwikee Step Motor Conversion/Upgrade Kit for you is indeed part # LC379145. This upgrade kit will be a direct bolt on fit so long as you have the Kwikee Series 32 Step. If you can send me a few photos of your steps or can find any part numbers I would be happy to try and identify them for you.
