The Yakima Roof Rack System Is a good fit for your 2014 Nissan Altima 4 door. The weight capacity for the roof rack is 100 lbs. That would include the weight of any cargo box you choose added to the weight of any cargo you place in the carrier. The front crossbar is placed 15-1/8 inches from the windshield. The crossbar spread is 24 inches. You need the following parts for the roof rack:
48 inch RoundBars # Y00408
BaseLine Towers # Y28TR
RoundBar Adapter # Y03536
BaseClips # Y06137 and... view full answer...
This is a little strange considering that a 215/60-16 tire is about 26.16 inches in diameter and a 245/35-20 is about 26.75 inches in diameter. That is a difference of only 0.59 inches which is in between 9/16 and 5/8 of an inch. Half of that extra height is applied to the upper have of the tire so only about 5/16 inches closer to the wheel well ceiling. I just assumed there was more space in the wheel well.
Regardless of the wheel well space using the Firestone Coil-Rite springs # F4105... view full answer...
We do have a roof rack that's designed to fit your 2015 Altima and also work with your sunroof.
I recommend the Yakima Jetstream roof rack. This rack is extremely quiet because it uses aerodynamic crossbars. The crossbars are 50 inches long and constructed of lightweight aluminum and have a black powder-coat finish. It is recommended not to open the sunroof when the roof rack is installed due to interference.
To order this roof rack you will need part # Y00425, part # Y28TR, part #... view full answer...
Both wiring harnesses for the 2010 Nissan Altima Sedan require a power wire ran to the battery and an in line fuse installed. It is absolutely necessary and the trailer wiring will not work without it. More and more cars are being made with thin wiring that is not capable of handling the added power draw of trailer lights. The powered converters virtually eliminate the power draw from the vehicle wiring protecting it and other electrical components from damage.
Both wiring harnesses install... view full answer...
If you are under the tongue weight capacity of the hitch you are good. So for your 2015 Nissan Altima we have the Draw Tite hitch part # 24796 which has a 200 lb tongue weight capacity like you mentioned.
Now any time you use a hitch adapter like the # HTAD to go from 1-1/4 inch to 2 inch you cut the capacity of the hitch by 50 percent so that would not work in your case.
So the only option we have would probably not be an ideal one. The part # C18110 fits your hitch size and has enough... view full answer...
The only hitch we offer for your 2007 Altima is a Class I hitch, which has a 2000 lb towing/ 200 lb tongue weight (the maximum amount of weight that can be suspended from the hitch) capacity. Using an adapter would lower the tongue weight capacity by half. It's a matter of the structure of the vehicle where the hitch attaches not being strong enough. Attempting to carry that kind of tongue weight would most likely result in the fasteners tearing out of the vehicle and the loss of the hitch... view full answer...
The 2014 Nissan Altima SL 3.5 Sedan can be fitted with a light-duty 1-1/4-inch Class I hitch, such as Draw-Tite # 24796 that you referenced. The other available hitches share the same capacity but this one is a good cost-effective choice.
The information you provided on the Cansporter (thank you) indicates that it is designed for 2-inches hitches, so for you to use it in a 1-1/4-inch hitch you'd need an adapter like # HTAD which converts your hitch to a 2-inch receiver opening.
The thing... view full answer...
I attached a link that has all of the compatible roof racks we carry for your 2009 Nissan Altima for you to check out. The Rhino Rack you referenced that consists of part numbers # RRVA118B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK169 has been confirmed as a fit so I would recommend it for you.
Then for a kayak carrier you would want the Thule Hull-a-Port Carrier part # TH834. This is a J-style carrier that would work well to transport your kayak. I attached a review video for you to check out as well. view full answer...
For your 2010 Nissan Altima the Q clips you referenced have all been discontinued by the manufacturer as they have updated their roof rack systems.
To give you a roof rack for the naked roof, I recommend the Rola Rail Extreme DFE Series Roof Rack - Naked Roofs - 53" Long # R5001. This is a great option to give you an aero roof rack designed as a custom fit for your Altima. To better secure your roof rack, I recommend adding locks # 59316 as well. view full answer...
For your 2012 Nissan Altima I recommend the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler # D13503. The larger Derale # D13504 is designed for trucks that will frequently tow large trailers.
I would recommend not bypassing the radiator portion of the transmission cooler as this will help to lower the fluid temperature before entering the Derale Air cooler. This is important when you get stuck in traffic as you will not have as much air moving across your Derale cooler and it will help... view full answer...
We have 1-1/4 inch hitches that fit your 2013 Nissan Altima like the # 24796 but the 2 inch hitch size is reserved for the higher capacity vehicles like trucks and SUVs which is why we don't offer this size for your vehicle. view full answer...
For your 2017 Nissan Altima the Sportrack roof rack part # SR1010 is as confirmed fit but since it's only a semi-custom fit rack and designed to fit multiple vehicles we have found that it doesn't fit any one vehicle very well so we don't recommend it at all. Also based on this we don't have any installed pictures of this rack on your vehicle either.
Instead I would go with a custom rack that fits your vehicle like with the Rhino Rack part numbers # RRVA126S-2, # RRRLKVA,# DK381 as this... view full answer...
You ask good questions! We can help you decide which cargo carrying option, hitch carrier or roof bag, will be the best choice for your Altima and for your specific type of cargo.
In terms of sheer weight capacity the hitch wins hands down. The Class I hitches offered for your Altima Hybrid are light-duty types that can handle a maximum load of 200-lbs. This means that the carrier you select and its loaded cargo cannot exceed 200-lbs total. Your roof will have a weight capacity of about... view full answer...
For your 2007 Nissan Altima the Firestone Coil Rite kit aprt # F4105 is a confirmed fit and will do a great job to give additional rear suspension support to reduce the sag you are experiencing. view full answer...
We do have one kit that may fit your 2200lb axle, but you will need to confirm which bearing combination it uses, and you will need to replace the wheels with 13" wheel as it is not compatible with your 14" wheels.
You can do this by removing one of your current hubs and looking for the bearing number stamped in the face of each bearing as shown in the included picture of the # L44649.
As long as your bearing combination is inner and outer bearing # L44649 you will need the Kodiak Disc... view full answer...
All of the trailer hitches available for the 2008 Nissan Altima require drilling for installation. The hitches are all custom the issue is that there aren't any holes in the vehicle frame to mount a hitch so drilling is required.
If you want to go ahead and install a hitch you can use Draw-Tite hitch # 24796. I have linked a video showing an example installation. For a ball mount use # 3594. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19257 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. For trailer wiring you can... view full answer...
Some vehicles are more set up from the factory for towing like your Equinox, whereas for your 2017 Nissan Altima there is an easy way to install trailer wiring, but Nissan didn't specifically design your vehicle with towing in mind so they didn't give it a port for trailer wiring like the Equinox.
So you'd want the Tekonsha kit part # 118731 which is a confirmed fit for your vehicle. You do have to run a wire up the battery so that your vehicle taillight circuits are protected though. view full answer...
The roof rack that I recommend for your 2016 Nissan Altima will consist of the following items:
Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 49" Long - Qty 2, part # RRVA126B-2
Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars - Naked Roofs or Fixed Mounting Points - Qty 4, part # RRRLKVA

Yes, you can use a 3-bike trunk mount bike rack on your 2017 Nissan Altima 4-door sedan. I have included a link to the options for you. I recommend the Thule OutWay # TH56BV.
I have an older version of this rack and it is by far the easiest trunk mount rack I have ever used. What makes it so easy are the 2 retractable cables it uses to attach to the vehicle rather than 6 straps like other carriers.
The excess cable stores inside the carrier so there are no loose ends flapping around.... view full answer...
Since you have a sunroof we don't really like to recommend resting a roof cargo bag directly on your roof. So instead your best option would be a roof cargo basket attached to your roof rack so that you can attach a bag like the Rightline part # RL100S50 to it.
For a basket you could then use the part # SR9035 which would work well for this application and would give you a much more secure setup than attaching a cargo bag to just crossbars. view full answer...
