Generally speaking wheel mount only bike racks are preferred. Especially for people with carbon fiber bike frames since frame mounts aren't recommended at all with them otherwise damage could occur. For other frame designs people still prefer them because there is no frame contact. People with suspension also prefer wheel mount as well. There are only so many different hitch designs for any given vehicle. For your 2007 Honda Accord the Draw-Tite hitch # 24787 and Curt hitch # C11327 have the same basic design. Some vehicles need a powered trailer wiring harness with a separate power wire (rather than the passive type that just plug-in) in order to protect the car's wiring. Yakima tends to be a bit more cautious with their bike racks which is why they say not to use the Yakima OnRamp # Y96FR with a Class I hitch whereas Thule isn't concerned about that with their EasyFold XT Bike Rack # TH903202.
