At one point some of the hitches we offered did require the use of a stabilizer strap when carrying a non-supported load like a bike rack but recently the one manufacturer that required this (Curt) decided it was not longer needed. So the EcoHitch you referenced part # EH84GR did not ever require the strap and currently still does not. This is the most hidden option we have has the lower hitch opening totally removes when not in use.

I may have a solution for you, but I was able to confirm with my contact over at Yakima that there's not yet a Yakima tower available that can safely be used on your 2021 Tesla Model S with the glass roof.
With that said, there is a Thule roof rack kit that has been confirmed that can be used on the glass roof, but you wouldn't be able to use your existing Yakima bars with Thule towers. I may have a solution for you but if you have the Model 3 roof rack by Tesla on your 2020 Tesla Model 3, then we do not have a channel cover specifically designed to fit your roof rack. If the opening in your roof rack is open then it will cause some wind noise.
