We have just what you are looking for with the EcoHitch part # EH84GR for your 2020 Tesla Model 3 as this hitch will be completely "invisible" when you aren't using it as you can remove the portion of it that hangs below the rear bumper.
I also attached an install video for this hitch on a similar 2021 Model 3 for you to check out as well. The process is exact same for your 2021. view full answer...
The best option for a hidden trailer hitch receiver for your 2022 Tesla Model 3 is from EcoHitch, with the correct part number for your '22 Model 3 being the following:
- EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # EH84GR
The Stealth has a completely hidden crosstube, and not only that, you can actually remove the receiver entirely when you aren't using it, so there is no trace of a hitch at all on your '22 Model 3. It is also one of just two hitches for your Model 3 with a 2" receiver,... view full answer...
On the 2018 models it was true that you had to trim a hole in the lower rear fascia. However for your 2020 Tesla Model 3 to install the # EH84GR It is no longer necessary to trim it because they come with a knock out in that location so that the lower hitch opening can attach to the hitch's main crossbeam.
I attached an install video for this hitch for you to check out on a similar 2021 Tesla Model 3. view full answer...
The same Stealth trailer hitches that fit the 2020 Tesla Model 3 are also a confirmed fit and will work perfectly with the 2021 model. Keep in mind though that this is a Stealth brand hitch, which is different from EcoHitch. There isn't an EcoHitch hitch currently available that will fit the 2021 Tesla Model 3.

A hole does get cut in the lower fascia of your 2020 Tesla Model 3 to install the EcoHitch # 306-X7373 but we offer a cover for the hole that you can use when the hitch isn't in use. For that you'd just need the part # 306-XA2002. I attached a picture of what it looks like installed for you to check out as well.
I attached an install video for the hitch and a review video for the cover for you to check out as well. view full answer...
The Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack # S64650 sounds exactly like what you're looking for! It also has a slight shank rise which will help with ground clearance on your Tesla. Attached below is my video review if you want to check it out.
To use this bike rack, you will need a hitch. For your more affordable hitches, you have two options: Class 1 1-/4: Hitch # C52VR or Class... view full answer...

Yes the Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH83JV will fit great to the EcoHitch you have installed on your 2020 Tesla Model 3. The difference between the XT and the XTB is that the XTB is all black.
I confirmed that the 7 inches the T2 has from it's hitch pin to the nearest portion of the rack would be adequate for your hitch setup. view full answer...
For your 2018 Tesla Model 3 we have two Stealth hitch options. We have the part # 391TES317 which comes with a lower hitch opening that can only be used with a hitch accessory like a bike rack and we also have the part # 391TES317T which includes the same things plus all of the accessories needed to also tow a trailer like wiring and ball mount which hitch ball.
Essentially the # 391TES317T is the # 391CONVB5 plus the # 391TES317. view full answer...
The ground clearance you will gain from using the 1-1/4" receiver attachment # 391RR1 instead of the 2" receiver included with the Stealth Hitches Rack Receiver # 391TES317 is just the 3/4" difference in receiver size. Both will sit just as close to the body so all of the height difference will be at the bottom.
You will need to measure to see if this will be enough of a difference to make it worth it to you or not.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at. view full answer...
The Kuat Transfer V2 1 bike rack part # KU64FR and the RockyMounts Mono Rail part # RKY10007 are both really great options but I would go with the Kuat for ease of loading since the bike wouldn't have to be lifted quite as high and because it is slightly lighter weight. The Kuat is 9-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to nearest portion of the rack when folded up whereas the RockyMounts is 12 inches. view full answer...
The ground clearance of a trailer hitch on a 2020 Tesla Model 3 will be pretty much the same no matter which option you go with as they all install in the same fashion. The location of the receiver tube is dictated by the manufacturer due to where they place the knockout panel. The ground clearance will be limited but there's really nothing you can do about this unless you go with the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver part # 391TES317 which has a removable receiver tube that only limits... view full answer...
The tongue weight capacity of the Stealth hitch # 391TES317 that fits your 2019 Tesla Model 3 is 200 lbs and the EcoHitch # EH84GR is 300 lbs which also is a confirmed fit. Both of these are great options with the big advantage that when you don't need it you can remove the lower opening completely and it's totally invisible. This is great from an aesthetic point of view as well as for aerodynamics. Your vehicle was designed to be as aerodynamic as possible to maximize mileage which includes... view full answer...
