Comparing RockyMounts Mono Rail and Kuat Transfer V2 for 47 lb Bike
Question:
I am looking for a bike rack for a single electric bike. Bike weighed 47 lbs. I like to know the pros and cons of RockyMounts mono Rail Solo and Kuat Transfer V2. Which bike will be easier to loan on and off? Which bike is easier to take the rack off when I am not using it? Which bike is closer to the car or hitch when folded up? Which one is easier to work with for a woman. Thanks in advance for your recommendation.

The Kuat Transfer V2 1 bike rack part # KU64FR and the RockyMounts Mono Rail part # RKY10007 are both really great options but I would go with the Kuat for ease of loading since the bike wouldn't have to be lifted quite as high and because it is slightly lighter weight. The Kuat is 9-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to nearest portion of the rack when folded up whereas the RockyMounts is 12 inches.
