There are universal hardwire options for a 4-flat wiring harness that connects to your tail lights. I'm not sure if you were asking for the vehicle side or trailer side so I'll go ahead and give options for both:
- Vehicle Side: Curt Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C58044
- Trailer Side: Wesbar 4-Pole Flat Connector - 4' Long # W787264 or 8' Long # W787268 view full answer...
I reached out to my tech contact at Go Power and he said you won't need an additional inverter or transfer switch based on your current system. Having 6000 Watts already available won't require you to have an additional transfer switch or inverter.
The Go Power Solar Extreme Charging System - 510 Watts # 34282185 has the inverter included which you don't need. My recommendation is the Go Power Solar Flex Kit w/ Digital Controller - 550 Watts - 28.4 Amp # 34275012. This kit will give... view full answer...

Typically, you will mount the solenoid and breaker under the seat where the battery is or on the frame in this same general area. I have included a link to a video showing a typical installation of Superwinch LT2000 on a 2012 Polaris that you can use as a guide. view full answer...
I attached a set of the installation instructions and attached a picture that I pulled from them that shows where all of the wiring connections will need to made.
I do not have specific written installation instructions for your 2010 Polaris 500 Sportsman but I did attach a video of this winch being installed on a very similar 2012 Polaris 500 Sportsman that will detail how we did it for that ATV. The process would be basically identical for you. view full answer...
The Roadmaster Hy-Power Diode # RM-790 is sealed so it would be alright to use in an outdoor setting. You wouldn't want to submerge it underwater but it would work just fine if it got some rain or snow on it. view full answer...
We have winch mounts for the 2013 Polaris 550 Sportsman as long as it is an XP, Touring, or X2 model. The mount is # BDW15151. There could be some trimming of the front panel that will need to be done to install the winch on some models. view full answer...
The Diamond LED Light Bulb Load-Resistors # DI34ZR would be considered weather resistant. You wouldn't want to submerge them under water but they are designed to be mounted on trailer wiring or vehicle wiring in areas that can get wet from rainfall. view full answer...
