Since you have a 3-wire(separate) system, the brake light and turn signals are sent along different wires. You can use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test your wiring. Have someone sit in the driver seat and run through the functions while you test the wires at the back of the taillights.

According to page 137 of the owner's manual it looks like you can only use a tow dolly to tow your 2005 Mini Cooper if it has an automatic transmission. Since you have a manual transmission you need to flat tow it otherwise you will damage the transmission. The manual doesn't say anything about what gear to put your vehicle in but I would imagine it is neutral. You will want to confirm this with your local Mini dealer.

I spoke with my contact at Curt and he said Curt trailer hitch, part # C11272, will allow you to retain your spare tire under your 2013 Mini Cooper Couple with single exhaust. The spare can be removed with the hitch in place.
Curt does require the use of Support Straps, # 18050, for all non-trailer loads including bike racks, cargo carriers and so forth. Failure to properly support these loads will void your hitch warranty from Curt.

The video you watched for the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 was installed on a 2016 Mini Cooper, and the missing colors are likely due from a harness change from 2013-2016, which isn't all that uncommon.

According to my research you should be able to flat tow your 2017 Mini Cooper as long as it has a manual transmission. If it has an automatic transmission then you will need to use a tow dolly instead. There are 2 metal rings welded to the Curt Trailer Hitch, part # 11130, on each side of the receiver to attach safety chains. You will have to reach up behind the bumper fascia to connect the safety chains.

The 4-pin round connector that includes the transmitter for the Custer Wireless LED Tow Bar Light # LIW-LDTL will plug into the 4-pin connector on your motorhome and then transmit the signal to the light bar.
If you do not have a 4-pin round connector on your motorhome, you would need to add one. You can do this using the Pollak 4-Pole Round Wiring Socket # PK11404. Once you have the plug, you then need to route 16-gauge wire # 16-4B-1 to those pins into your current wiring.

The Custer LED Amber Quad Flash Kit, # CPL65A-STR, was not designed to be surface mounted. The sockets for the plug-in wiring harnesses protrude past the back of the light so they would not sit flat.
