How Long Can I Expect To Spend Installing The Roadmaster Base Plate Kit On A 2014 Mini Cooper?
Question:
I will be ordering this so but wanted to know about the install time. It will be a DIY job. Can you give me a rough estimate on how much time I should allow. Thanks,

Roadmaster quotes their installers to take around 2-1/2 hours, however an experienced professional should expect installation of the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit # RM-521882-5 to take around 3 hours.
If you are a novice, you can expect this to take a bit longer as there is some trimming of the shock absorption pad, active air shutter louvers or housing, lower air dam, air deflector, cowling and/or rock guard is required.
I have also included an installation video of # RM-521882-5 on a 2016 Mini Cooper for you to check out so you can get an idea of what to expect.
