The John Cooper Works (JCW) edition of the 2010 Mini Cooper Clubman came with a turbocharged I4 engine. The turbocharged engine also utilizes an intercooler which brings down air intake temperatures. The only piece that you can reuse from your original setup on the 2004 Mini cooper are the Thule WingBar EVO crossbars if the new 2018 Mini Cooper 2 door has flush mount rails. Yes, you should be able to install and use a center light in your 2004 Mini Cooper rear bumper as long as the hitch is not being used. The hardware that came with the original Excursion cargo box has plates with holes spaced 4 inches and 2 inches apart on center. You will want to use replacement hardware # TH04997 as the EasySnap hardware is a different size and has been discontinued.

I spoke with my contacts at Thule and Hollywood Racks and they said they do not offer trunk mounted bike racks for the new Mini Coopers because the hatches are unable to support the carrier weight.

The Curt trailer hitch # C11417 is actually NOT a fit for a 2015 Mini with a spare tire. Instead you would need the EcoHitch # 306-X7290 which does fit a Mini with a spare tire.

We went ahead and reached out to Thule, and they confirmed that while they do not have an exact measurement, the cradles of the Thule Hullavator # TH898 drop down about 36 inches from the top of the crossbar. With this factored into your current height, that is about 60 inches high.
