Question:
Recently aquired an old Excursion 667 box. Is it possible to convert to EasySnap hardware?

Expert Reply:
The hardware that came with the original Excursion cargo box has plates with holes spaced 4 inches and 2 inches apart on center. You will want to use replacement hardware # TH04997 as the EasySnap hardware is a different size and has been discontinued.
If the box was still under warranty, drilling holes in it would void that warranty. Drilling too many holes will compromise the structural integrity of the box.
