The Draw-Tite custom fit hitch part # 75908 for the 2016 Kia Sorento max tongue weight capacity is up to 500 lbs. The tongue weight rating does not change if you weld the hitch to the vehicle's frame. The hitch may be rated up to 5,000 lbs gross towing weight but the Kia Sorento is not rated for that much weight.
I researched the owner's manual for the Kia and it depends on the engine and if the vehicle was equipped with a towing package as to how much tongue weight it can handle. The... view full answer...
Since you have the 2012 Kia Sorento LX with 4 cylinders, you will need to use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56328 if you are wanting to stick with the Curt brand. The wiring kit 56151 that you referenced in your question is only compatible with the 6 cylinder 2012 Kia Sorento LX.
For the Curt Wiring Harness # C56163, you will simply install the connectors behind your tail light housing and run the 12V power wiring up to your battery. I have attached a video of the similar... view full answer...
The Stealth # 391KIATELL20 hitch you'd looked at is a fit for the Kia Telluride and wouldn't fit the 2021 Sorento but we do have a hitch option for your Sorento, I'd recommend the Curt Class IIl hitch, part # C34ER.
Although the Curt # C34ER Class III hitch isn't completely concealed like the Stealth # 391KIATELL20, the crossbar portion of the hitch is tucked up behind the bumper only leaving the receiver tube and safety chain loops visible as shown in the provided photo.

Yes. The Trunx Rooftop Cargo Box - 18 cu ft - Black # TRX34FR is designed to fit on most aftermarket and factory roof rack crossbars, so as long as your 2018 Kia Sorento's factory bars aren't wider than 3-3/4" this box will fit without any issues. Most crossbars aren't that wide and I have yet to encounter a factory crossbar that this box hasn't fit on, so the Trunx cargo box will do a great job. view full answer...
The surest way to find out if your 2015 Kia Sorento EX has the factory tow package or not is to ask your local dealership to run the car's VIN through their computer. This will tell them exactly what factory equipment was installed.
We do offer hitches for both versions and these include both 1-1/4-inch Class II types as well as 2-inch Class III hitches. This larger hitch is what I recommend for its higher capacity and better compatibility with most hitch-mount accessory items like bike... view full answer...
I would be happy to help you find a set of crossbars that will fit the factory raised rails of your 2023 Kia Sorento. This kit mounts directly to the side rails. You will want the roof rack by Yakima and it includes the following parts:

TimberLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars - Raised, Factory Side Rails - Qty 4 item # Y33TR
HD Bar SL Adapter for Yakima TimberLine Towers - Qty 4 item # Y03541

The Curt # C34ER Class III hitch fits all models of the 2021 Kia Sorento, including the SX as confirmed by Curt.
If the hitch is going to be used for towing, a trailer wiring harness like # C59496 would be needed as well as a # 2753 ball mount, and # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch trailer ball. view full answer...
Yes, you can definitely use the Redarc Brake Controller item # RED24FR in your new Sorento. It looks like the 2020 Sorentos did not come with a plug for a brake controller. You will need the Universal Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers item # RED69FR to complete your installation.
I have linked an installation video below to help you get the Redarc set up.

Aside from contacting your local Kia dealer with the VIN for your 2018 Kia Sorento the easiest way to determine if you have the factory tow package or not is to simply go to the rear driver's side of your vehicle and locate the OEM wiring connectors. I have attached an installation video of this for the Curt T-Connector # C56332 on a similar 2018 Sorento that you can check out. If you don't have the factory tow package then you'll require the T-One # 118583 instead which plugs in behind... view full answer...
I checked with Curt and the hitch part # C13195 that you referenced does not have any fit exclusions for versions of the vehicle that have a full-sized spare so it will fit and work well. I attached a picture to this page that shows it installed with a full-sized spare kept underneath the vehicle as well.
I also attached an install video for this hitch on a similar 2018 Sorento for you to check out as well. view full answer...
For your 2020 Kia Sorento I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98843. This custom fit trailer hitch has a simple no drill bolt-on installation. It has a maximum gross trailer weight capacity of 5,000lbs and maximum tongue weight capacity of 750lbs. Note: you'll need to review your vehicle's GTW and TW capacities and conform to whichever is the lower rating (either the vehicle rating or hitch rating).

The Yakima Rooftop Cargo Box, part # Y07336 fits vehicles with crossbar spread between 24 and 42 inches. So your crossspread of 36" is perfectly in that range. The good folks at Yakima have confirmed that it will fit 36" spreads.

Your 2020 Kia Sorrento has flush siderails, which are closer to the roof than a raised siderail. Since they are closer to the roof of your vehicle you are not going to be able to operate your sunroof with the rack on your vehicle. Even if there is enough room between your rack and the sun roof. There will not be enough room between the sunroof and the clamps that hold the Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 44" Long x 39" Wide, part # Y07070, on your roof rack. It kind of depends on what you mean by tow package. If it's a legit tow package from the manufacturer then no, but if it's an aftermarket trailer hitch and wiring then it depends on what year Sorento you're upgrading to.
If you're upgrading from a 2018 Kia Sorento to a 2020 Kia Sorento then yes, you can use the same hitch and wiring but you'll need to get new hitch hardware with our part # RHK. Just select the manufacturer and type in your hitch number to get the correct replacement parts.

To carry any rooftop cargo box, like the Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box # TH629906, on any vehicle you will need a roof rack. It sounds like the 2018 Kia Sorento has the flush mounted rails so I recommend using a Thule WingBar Evo roof rack:
47" WingBar Evo Crossbars - Black # TH711220 or Silver # TH711200
Evo Flush Rail Feet - # TH710601
Fit Kit - # TH186033
Lock Core Kit - # TH450400 (optional)

Yes, the Curt T-Connector wiring harness # C56332 will work with your 2011 Kia Sorento LX V6 engine with the tow package. If you have the LX 4-cylinder engine without a towing package, then you will need the T-One wiring harness # 118506. Most base model Kia's won't come with a tow package so I would double-check to see how your vehicle is equipped.
Since you are adding a wiring harness, I recommend using a small amount of dielectric grease like #... view full answer...
The K-Source universal fit mirror # KS3891 has not had the chance to be tested on a 2011 Kia Sorento, so I couldn't say yes or no with absolute certainty. Take a look at the installation video on the Nissan Murano and if your mirrors look similar, I am confident they will fit just fine. These towing mirrors fit most mirrors 4-1/2 inches to 11-1/2 inches tall.

I don't know exactly what the correct replacement grease caps are for your trailer but the highest capacity I'm aware of is 1,000 lbs in the Malone MegaSport which uses 2,000 lb axles therefore would need the Grease Cap, 1.988" OD Drive In part # RG04-020. If you are unsure of what you have, best option is to just measure the inner hub bore or the outer grease cap diameter and then choose from the list below if the above is not a match. The Yakima # Y02443-2 HoldUp 4 bike rack should work excellently in the hitch on your 2012 Sorento, but to be absolutely sure, you'll want to take a quick measurement that shows how far under the rear bumper the receiver opening is recessed.
Find the hitch pin hole, and measure rearward until you clear the furthest rearward point of the back bumper. If this measurement is LESS THAN 7 inches, the HoldUp 4 will have enough clearance.
