Fit of Yakima HoldUp 4 Bike Rack # Y02443-2 on 2012 Kia Sorento

Question:

I have a 2012 Kia Sorento with an after-market 2inch trailer hitch installed. I currently have the older model Yakima HoldUp 2 Bike Rack installed and it works great. I am considering purchasing the newer Yakima HoldUp 4 Bike Rack Y02443-2 and was wondering if you think I would have issues with it on my vehicle i.e., clearance, etc..

The Yakima # Y02443-2 HoldUp 4 bike rack should work excellently in the hitch on your 2012 Sorento, but to be absolutely sure, you'll want to take a quick measurement that shows how far under the rear bumper the receiver opening is recessed.

Find the hitch pin hole, and measure rearward until you clear the furthest rearward point of the back bumper. If this measurement is LESS THAN 7 inches, the HoldUp 4 will have enough clearance.
