  • Solution for 2007 Keystone Springdale 249 5th Wheel Needing Replacement Spindle
  • Since you need a new spindle too and installing spindles is a specialized job that usually costs more than just replacing an axle typically in your situation it's best to just replace the entire axle. This will be easier, more cost-effective and will give you all new axle components for both sides of the trailer. You are going to need to measure your current axles in a few places to get the correct one as we don't have access to what your numbers reference. You will need to measure from...

  • Recommended Disc Brake Kit for a Fuzion 429 Toy Hauler
  • In order to choose a disc brake kit for a trailer you'll need to know the axle capacity. The HydraStar Disc Brake Kit part # HSE7K-TR1 is what I recommend for a 7K axle capacity. It comes with everything needed to make the swap and the integrated hub and rotor design helps avoid compatibility issues with selecting the correct hubs. If you have a different axle capacity please just let me know and I'd be glad to see if we have another kit.

  • How Tight Should Spindle Nut Get Tightened on Trailer Hub
  • There isn't a set torque spec used when tightening the spindle nut. The hub is placed on the spindle, making sure the inner and outer bearings are correctly seated. The spindle nut is then run down until you start feeling resistance. At that point, spin the hub and check for end play (wobble). If the hub still seems a bit loose, you can run the nut down a bit more. As you'll see in the video I've linked to, tightening the nut is something you'll do by feel, not by a particular torque rating.

  • Best E-Bike Rack for Fifth Wheel Hitch
  • While Thule does not yet have any bike racks that match your needs, I do have other recommendations from other brands. For absolute versatility, I've been very impressed by the Hollywood Racks RV Rider # HLY64FR. It checks off ALL the boxes: fat tires, 80lb heavy e-bikes, 5th wheels, step-through frames, carbon fiber frames. It's amazing how it can handle all those different specialty specs when only a couple years ago, bike racks were proud of being designed for just one of them. The only...

  • 16,000 Pound "Sidewinder" Style Hitch With 1621 Bolt Pattern
  • Trucks with short beds will require a “slider” type fifth wheel hitch (Like the Reese slider you have) or a rotating turret style pin box like the Reese # RP61422, which is rated for 16,000 pounds. This Sidewinder also features air cushioning that will make for a significantly smoother ride with less chucking and better clearance at your truck rails. The photo you sent identifies your current pin box as having a 1621 bolt pattern. Likewise, the Sidewinder I have recommended has the same...

  • Recommended Replacement Tire for Trailer King ST235/80R16 Load Range E
  • I would recommend the # TTWTRTM2358016E Provider ST235/80R16 Load Range E as a replacement for your Trailer King tire. This tire is the same size as your existing tire with the same load range and an M speed rating. This radial tire is great for highway use and has the provider tread with siping which channels water away from the tread improving traction in wet conditions. I have attached a video review of the tire for your reference.

  • Installing Shorter Solera Slide-Topper Due to Clearance on 156" Box Width
  • If you don't have the clearance available for the recommended overhang on a Slide-Topper then you can indeed just go with a smaller size (keeping in mind that it may not give you full coverage). For your 156 inch box measurement the Solera 13' Slide-Topper in Black # LCV000165061 or White # LCV000163299 will work well as the slider itself is 156 inches wide. This matches your box width exactly so it should still cover most of your slide-out. I have attached a video demonstration on the...

  • Picking Out Replacement Landing Gear Follow Leg for 2011 Keystone Fuzion FZ322
  • It's most likely one of a few options but I would have to know more info. Can you get the brand of the landing gear and the length of the outer tube of the jack? If brand is Lippert, LCI, Venture, Stromberg and measures 29-1/2 inches you'd want the part # LC179014. If instead its the other common size of 33-1/2 inch you'd want the part # LG-177201.

  • RV AC Unit Recommendation for 2006 Keystone Mountaineer
  • The Furrion Chill HE AC units are what I recommend the highest because they blow the coldest and they are a lot quieter than other options. So for a ducted application like your 2006 Montana Mountaineer you would want the part # FR92PR for a 15k BTU unit or the part # FR52PR for a 13,500 BTU unit. Both of these come with distribution boxes as well. I would recommend the 15k unit based on the size of your RV unless you won't be in very warm climates.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch for 2015 Keystone Raptor Toy Hauler

It can be bolted to the trailer frame or welded on for a no-drill application. It features a 2 inch receiver opening with a tongue weight capacity of 350 pounds and a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds. • 5th Airborne Pin Box Recommendation for Trailer with 15.5k GVWR and Lippert 1621 Pin Box
  • Pin boxes with higher weight capacities generally are more expensive so the idea with offering a lower capacity option is to save some money while still offering a fit that will work great. If you go with an overkill pin box you really wouldn't gain anything but you also wouldn't be giving up anything except for a little more cost. Since your trailer has a Lippert 1621 pin box and a GVWR of 15.5k the 5th Airborne you'd want is the part # 5AB-E1621-16K which has a 16k capacity. As long...

  • We have exactly what you need! When choosing a slide topper you always pick one that is roughly 6" longer than the slide out. This will include the trim that goes around it. • Picking Out Replacement Brake Assemblies for 2010 Keystone Alpine 3640RL
  • I can help you find the right assemblies, but I do not know exactly which ones you have on your trailer. I looked up your Keystone Alpine 3640RL and it appears to be rated for around 15k and has a tandem axle setup so you'll most likely need higher rated assemblies. To pick out the correct brake assemblies for your trailer you need to know a few things. You will want to measure the inner diameter of your hub/drums and the depth of the drums to determine what brake assembly dimensions...

  • How To Find the Correct Replacement Landing Gear Legs for a 2013 Keystone Laredo
  • In order to find the correct replacement landing gear legs for your 2013 Keystone Laredo 335TG I would need you to take two quick measurements of your existing landing gear legs, the outer tube length and weld stop spacing. I have attached a photo to assist. The most common replacement landing gear legs are the Replacement 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear Legs part # LC179013 for lead and part # LC179014 for follow. These measure 29-1/2" on the outer tube and 15-1/2" between the weld stops....

  • Will Adding Airbags to a 2009 Ford F-250 Increase Towing Capacity
  • The towing capacity of your 2009 Ford F-250 will remain unchanged through the life of the vehicle in the eyes of the manufacturer no matter what components are added. The suspension enhancements that you are referring to will certainly help with your vehicle's ability to support the added weight but again will not increase it. Please note that when using a set of airbags on a truck that is also pulling a 5th wheel trailer you need to be aware of where the brackets mount for each. If you...
